Looking back at the past week and seeing what has happened, makes me excited about what is happening in Kayhalitsha. The male students played soccer with the boys and the female students played games with the girls and spoke about girly things. I will not know too much about that.
We finished up the fence that we where working on around the vegetable tunnel and the church. Plans changed on the proximity of where the fence had to go, so we found ourselves being flexible and helping in the best way possible.
Doing door to door evangelism again this week was interesting as usual. Going into peoples homes and sharing with them about who Jesus is and what He did for us. The different reactions always amaze me. Some are friendly and earnest, while others seem friendly and give you the right answers so that you can leave. Seeing with how much excitement these American students are talking to people, makes me wish that I was always that bold.
We ended our week with some training on How to share your faith on South African Universities. They finished their time in Kayhalitsha and will now focus on our universities, namelyStellenboschUniversityandUniversityofCape Town. Pray for them – that they will have godly appointments. What I mean by that is that they will help people encounter God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Have a blessed week and thank you for your prayers.
